Day 133 – 365 Things To Do In Bellingham, WA – Bloedel Donovan Park

Bloedel Donovan Park, located at the western-most end of Lake Whatcom is one of Bellingham’s most popular places to swim on these hot summer days, we may have a few left so get into the water.
During the hottest days of summer, the beach is packed with people, the kids are jumping off the bridge on Electric Ave, boats and jet ski’s are in sight just outside the swimming area, kayaker’s are paddling around, summer’s here in town.

There are volleyball, and basketball courts, pick-nick tables, playground stuff, a boat launch and the pavilion building at Bloedel that is host to many community events.

And it’s a dog Park “During daylight hoursfrom October 1 to April 30 and until 10 a.m. from May 1 to September 30.”
