Day 116 – 365 Things To Do In Bellingham, WA – Chalk Art Festival

You know summer is in full swing when Allied Arts of Whatcom County presents the 18th Annual Chalk Art Festival on Saturday, July 31st, 2010 as part of the Bellingham Art Festival. The event that is open to families, children, adults & community groups.

There are prizes, entertainment and professional photography of the creations. This event brings loads of people to Downtown Bellingham to admire the sidewalk artwork.  There will be downtown wagon rides to let visitors tour the chalk creations and end up at the Bellingham Senior Activity Center Summer Festival.

Fees are $25 for a full size adult square and $12 for a child’s (13 and under) square. If you would like a professional picture taken of your square there will be an additional $10 fee per square.
