Day 112 – 365 Things To Do In Bellingham, WA – 115th Annual Old Settler’s Picnic

Ferndale is partying this weekend starting this Thursday July 22nd to Sunday July 25th It’s the 115th Annual Old Settler’s Picnic held at Pioneer Park and throughout the city, celebrating the county’s history and the original settlers to our area.  Activities will include daily carnival, arts and crafts vendors, a beer garden, horse-drawn wagon rides, a petting zoo and a variety of live music.

Saturday begins with a car show at Central Elementary at 8am. The 5k walk/run gets underway at 10am and at 11am the Old Settler’s Grand Parade will go through downtown.

Sunday begins with a motorcycle show and shine from 11am to 3pm at Central Elementary along with other community games and vendors throughout the school grounds.

Everyone who attends Old Settler’s Day pays $3 and registers how long they have lived in Whatcom County, they get a ribbon to wear proclaiming how long  they have lived in Whatcom County.
